Lebanon has moved in recent weeks to COVID alert level 4, which means we're in an uncontrolled epidemic with limited additional health system capacity available. The test positivity rate is still very high and hospitals are overwhelmed but we can only hope the coming weeks will ease things for Lebanon's medical staff and the people. MTV reported today that one of Lebanon's most beloved magicians, Dr. Micky has died from the coronavirus. I remember we always looked forward to seeing him perform at birthdays as kids. Birthdays are very different nowadays, but Dr. Micky was still performing for kids at Kidzilla, CCCL and events. In fact, I found a recent video of his that I shared below. May he Rest In Peace.
